so in ur opinion, should i support this method for obj exporting or just use the portals.txt? I guess i should do both, seeing as they both arnt hard to implement |

Again, unless Im wrong, mip-mapping cant be used to replace an image with a 'different' one at given distance. LOD however can.
Im sure most 3d api's will allow for custom mip levels. The .dds form ... |

in order to change bounding box you can use the new model editor and set the bounding box for tank object
