Now you can alter the multiplayer menu for any level and it will stay PERMANENTLY. Yes, after hours of staring in the memory editor at addresses I finally figured out how the damn thing really works. These codes will actually write over the original slots in the game for a permanent menu modification!! Enjoy Cool

thanks! yeah, Goldeneye needed a permanent menu mod bad to really give you that classic feel.

Whoa, wait, so when you use that, it permanently modifies an image? Like if you unplug the shark, pop in GE, and run it it will permanently be another image? If so you could prob choose the level too. What's the second code there?

Confused I wish. no just during gameplay with a shark. before the damn image would revert back to dam's picture after loading the level for a round, this way it writes the proper values to the pic address.

When you said "permanent menu modification", I thought you meant that the pictures would change... you know, permanently. But I do remember there being trouble with the stage select images switching back and fourth with the earlier codes. Still, it's a nice touch, as GE Master mentioned.

not to mention, these codes will keep the image there via gameshark as long as the console is turned on. pretty nifty having the menu look original eh? Very Happy

He means that all three of those stages share the same image for the level select slots in the menu. Library, Basement and Stack all use that one picture. So to modify one, you modify all three.
