I'm not sure if the assembly is stable to do it, I'll have to check sometime.

I checked it out, sorry there is no easy way to do it in RAM. It's in the TLB and it changes position randly within 803.

how do we fix the ghosting issue for console?

As of now, we don't. Just block off Jungle to a small section and it should be the same.

I was actually taking a look at that possibility the other day (as a gameshark level).

I used your visual editor to open up the jungle with various setup files to see which ones have lots of presets already in an area of the level. Turns out that the Archives setup has 15 different 27xx presets and about 8 different 00xx presets all in the front part of the stage (where the crashed airplane is). The problem is that the level takes over 2 and a half minutes to load, and about a full minute to load even when I cut the preset lists short to only the necessary presets.

But by using the standard Stack setup, each piece of plantlife takes 9 lines of code to both place it and set the right attributes. With 5 weapon sets and 5 respawns, I figure I could get about 13-15 pieces of plantlife. Not sure though if that would be enough for an adequate jungle level.
