My friend and I played all of the new levels on the V64 Backup Device, and they are amazing. For about an hour there, we felt like we were back in the good ol days with an all new level. It was incredible. License to Kill on G5 Building is stunningly good. Car Park would probably be best 4P, but it's very interesting because a lot of the time you can't tell what level someone's on, and proxy mine and such is a bit crazy. THIS is why Zoinkity, Wreck, and myself strive so hard to make these new levels. For the record, I'm player 2 and my friend is always player 1.

Citadel (to be fair, this level is huuuuuge and hard to play 2P, and it's not fair to play it after the other levels)

Wow! Nice to see the shaznastic clipping in use - and a nice, pit-related suicide. Why anyone would go without the pit of doom...
That edge-bug got you a kill though, about 3 1/2 minutes in. That will have to be dealt with one day... _________________ (\_/) Beware

His accidental fall into the pit of death broke up his streak and suddenly the tides turned Amazing level, yeah there are those minor clipping issues with hopping platforms and that one drop, but wow, is it good. LTK is realllllly good there, and having the ability to shoot across levels (like the parts with railings) is fresh and great. |

Awesome videos, Sub.
It's really great seeing these levels being played on a backup device. They appear to be running at a very good pace. The Car Park map looked to be larger than the 1.0 Stage Scale. Was it enlarged? I remember Zoinkity recommended to make it a bit bigger, even though it seems just fine via emulation on PJ64 when set to full size. Same thing goes with the G5 Building - Combat Simulator version. There's probably some reason behind it. Maybe, like with the Citadel, he resizes to better fit taller characters, such as Ourumov and Jaws? I haven't tried either stage with those guys, so I can't say. It just looks funny having these big railings and wide ramps. Kind of makes you feel small, heh. _________________

It has to do with sneaking past other characters on stairwells. At 'normal' size, you can't pass somebody else. Plus, the 'fall of the edge of things' works much, much better at the new scale. _________________ (\_/) Beware
