I just got my gameshark back(the other one crashed)and was wondering while i was getting all my multi levels back to normal,if i could use the random slot as a fixed level...as in it would always load the level i swaped if for..as in chicago?

hmmmm, don't know.... but you got chigago as multiplayer level? send me that code, please Smile

Yes, you can use the random slot as a fixed level, in fact, that's what Krijy did for his solo multiplayer levels like crash site. I can't hack levels as well as him, but I know how to make working level modifiers, and I have one here for Chicago...

oh... i actually meant chigago, that is "ready to play", you know mapped pads, weapons in right places, doors etc...

Well, I would love to make a fully working multiplayer level of Chicago, definitely, fantsu, but I'm assuming you know pads? Because I don't, and if someone could explain it to me, I would make it my first priority to make all of Perfect Dark's solo missions in multi. And yes, I've read through Krijy's FAQ.

It would take ages to put all the weapons into the right places..

Plus, tghe weapons are actually spread out the best in Chicago, it's the best level to play in.

Worst level: Attack ship. Razz

doing the map of pads isn't hard, but doing the WORKING enabler is...

My solo/multi levels are also not laid out with doors or weapons.The chicago i use is just a mod of sewers.It loads the mp weapons and ammo of complex.(thanks Krijy)

I have a Chicago enabler but you're on your own for pads cause I don't have the time for that.

We should get a team to get to work on transferring Perfect Dark's solo levels into multiplayer. Work can be divided up (level modifier codes, level layout, pads and enablers) so that one person doesn't have to face all the time-consuming work like Krijy did.

hmmm, teamwork? that fine with me Smile then i would prefer, we use BASE multiplayer setup in chigago (lots of "easy to use" doors), and many crates (easy to change whatever you want), so the start would be this like:

CHIGAGO in multiplayer

now, when you make enabler, you have to decide, where you put your final code (i think you use PC emulation, with NTSC 1.1 version, like me?), according to krijy, the highest address in chigago is 804E3B70, but you should put the code higher in the memory, than that (but not more than 6000), well i have made already 3 enablers for this, but non of them worked right to the end... always some problems, but maybe if you make me a enabler and tell me, where the code starts, i could do the "padding" (there is only 294 pads in chigago, but i can solve all the 65535 places for you, if you want...)

base has I think 5 doors and 20 something crates so that's the best one for putting all the exploding barrels and stuff.
