Finally, the reason we all bought our 360's is here. I have my copy pre-ordered, but I'm gonna have to wait untill probably Saturday to go pick it up. The way I see it, it'll be an awsome game today, and an awsome game on saturday. So I'm in no big rush. I was watching the G4 halo countdown last night though. It was pretty cool. They talked about how revolutionary Halo was. It was the first really successfull Console shooter.

I remember the first time I heard about Halo, we were doing a Collage in 6th grade on the computer, and this kid told me about this "awsome new game" called Halo. He was telling me it was one of the best games he'd ever played.

Turned out he was right. I hope it'll re-spark my interest in gaming. Lately I havn't even been able to pick up a controller without feeling sick. Confused

Personally, I'm really looking forward to customizing the armor.

I'm in no hurry to get the game. I've got the other two, which honestly didn't impress me very much. They're basically "run-and-gun" type games, with extremely similar areas and far too much back-tracking. They did a better job on the second installment, but I still couldn't really get into it. The only reason I even bought them was because of all the hooplah. Perhaps it's because I've never actually played the multiplayer modes on either that my interest is so low. One day, down the road, I'll grab a used copy of Halo 3. Until then, I won't lose any sleep over it.

Heh, funny how people forget the past so quick, isn't it? What's so revolutionary about Halo anyway? From what I've played it's just another shooter, nothing to keep me interested, Wreck summed up my feelings about it pretty good (Except I've played multiplayer and didn't enjoy it, something seemed off about it).

Edit: Felt I should point out that I don't own the game, and therefore can't really give it a fair judgment based on the few hours I had to play it. I don't hate Halo or anything, it just seems really overrated to me.

Wreck, yes, you have discovered that Halo series is not about the campaign. Multiplayer is what Halo is all about. I forgot rather quickly about the single player stuff....intentionally. I'm not totally impressed with the campaign because yeah, I found it to be a lot of repitition honestly.
