I thought of this when playing the N64 Tony Hawks. What do you think about music censorship? Here's an example, and my view...
On THPS2, the developers edited Rage Against the Machine's "Guerrilla Radio" way too much. The verses in the song are cut out and the chorus and ending are edited as well. "Lights out, Guerrilla Radio! Turn that...." Ummm...turn what? Turn that sh** up! And what about "All haaa can't stop us now"? Seriously, what the haaa (lol) were they thinking?
I'm on both sides in terms of music censorship. Sometimes it protects people from content in music, and in cases like above it kills songs (man, Rage must've been pissed). |

hahah like Slipknot's Spit It Out..
Baad censoring..
F*** me, I'm all outta enemies!
The censor made it sound like Corey had a tinyy pause in that word, it was still completely understandable.
Just stretched.
At one point, it censored before he said it. |

Censored RATM sounds horrible. After that heavily edited Guerrilla Radio, I've never heard it censored again (except on THPS2). It sucks when you havta hear a destroyed version of a great song. |
