Hi,

there is no need to buy an Gameshark if you have a Xploder 64.

Look at my N64 System:

Doctor V64 256 MB
N64 NTSC
Xploder 64 (works on PAL and NTSC)
DS1 Save Card
V64 jr 512
DX256 Save Card
Mario 64 NTSC as Boot Card

Tested it with Goldeneye 64 NTSC (loaded from 256 CD version)

Then when you activate the N64, the Xploder will Load.

Select you cheats and Activate in Game Trainer.

Then he will load Goldeneye.

Tested with Neon Explosives.

This is so Great, finally I can use all your great Cheats for Playing Multiplayer.

Thanks

Yeah, Xploder 64 does Gameshark codes, and I believe Xploder64 actually has more features in "special" codes than a regualr Gamshark.

The only Bad thing about the xploder is, that he freezes very fast.

Searching for codes is nearly impossible

You have a Doctor64?
The device that allows you to play ROMs on the console? Shocked
I'm sure both SubDrag and Zoinkity would love to get their hands on that. Ahem, what I mean to say is that they'd love for you test some mods out for them. I know Zoink was interested in seeing whether or not the Citadel could play on an N64 using a modified ROM on the Doc64. You should contact him about it. If it's what I'm thinking it is, he'll be very happy to find someone who has one. Smile

It's like in a blue moon, I've checked on EBay and I didn't find. Everything it shows were films, games (doctor mario), and more.

I've checked too on EBgames and there was nothing.

Do you have a link I could get it please? Thanks.

I checked into it abit, http://defaced.co.uk/bung/porducts/dv64.htm
Thats a link to a host of the old Bung site, makers of the Doctor V64, its their price and product. No, you cant buy it off the site, Damn! Very Happy
Here is another link for information regarding the Doctor V64: http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/backup/bung/bungv64.html
And another: http://www.erkay.de/bak_v64.htm

Makes me want to have one so badly, lol.

But Wait! Here is a place selling it! : http://www.chronicgames.net/info.asp?item=2294

.... but its the Junior version and its out of stock. (I just gave half the people reading this a heart attack)

Alright, now for the real thing. I found a guy whos trying to sell it on some forums site, problem is this was its back in 2005, so im not sure if he still has it. Nobody posted after him wanting it or anything. This link also has many pics of the device in action (very cool). Its the best version (Doctor V64 DX256)
http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1109905

I ain't couging up those bucks, lol. Let Zoink or Wreck or somebody try to get it.

UPDATE: I think im gonna post a new thread and copy and add to my post from there, we have gotten a little off-topic here.

The Patch for Citadel works fine,

When I first got the patcher (zoinkity sent it to me, with some other cheats for Beta Dam etc..) I patched the Pal Rom of Goldeneye and it worked fine.

Ebay is except from videogame forums the only source to get one.

Sorry, Citadel works only on emulator,

It loads on Pal but then, after a few seconds, it freezes.

As for the V64:

Did anybody else got one?

At this moment, they have a strange kind of 64DD Version on Ebay, a Blue Disk (for programming?)

But the price^^ 2000 dollars.

I can't wait until I get one^^
