I have a very old gameshark that still works and was wondering about this code.

what does the "(C) Launchers " .off mean? Do i need to type this into the first line of the code or what? Also, can I just turn this code on on the gameshark and start the game or should I switch it over to the GS button? Thanks in advance!

"(C) Launchers" .off
That would be the name of the code entry in the actual GS memory, when uploading or downloading using a PC. If you're just entering the codes in manually by hand, simply give it the name "Launchers" and punch in all of the lines of code beneath it in the code box. That should work, with no need to press the little button on the front of your cheating device.

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I can't get the code to work. After I enter the code i should be able to go into multiplayer and when I am cycling through the weapons find "Launchers" as a weapon? It is simply not showing up for me. I have double checked that I entered all the lines correctly. Any help for that?

Many times, what I have to do, is make sure that the code is set to Default ON. To do that, first turn the code Off and back ON in the list. Once it is lit up, press Z on it to enter the Edit window. On the right hand side of the screen, there is an option for the Default. Turn it OFF, and then ON again. Save the code, and start the game. For some reason, certain GameShark's need you to do this. Maybe that will help.

Also, just curious, do you have an NTSC or PAL setup?

Thanks for the help. Still couldn't seem to get it to work. I set it to default on and nothing happened. I guess there may be an error in where I typed in the code. I'll check again but I didn't see one. Maybe the code does not work on older Gameshark's?

No. I don't even now what NTSC or PAL is. Excuse my noobness.

Always make sure to triple-check your codes, as it is very easy to make a mistake. But even still, with all those lines, atleast something should be happening. Like the text modification. Would you happen to know which version GameShark you have? It'd probably say in the main menu. Older models aren't quite as good as the newer ones.

NTSC is the North American standard.
PAL is the European standard.

I have a Gameshark 2.0. I also believe i have the NSTC. I triple checked the codes and they all add up. It still does not work though. Hmm... Maybe I'll try one of the other weapons codes and see if that works. Any other helpful hints? Thanks for all your help thus far.
