It doesn't freeze up and become glitchy like PJ64 does. | yes it actually is the only emulator at the time capable of emulating goldeneye and perfect dark online without desynchronizing. but if you guys are talking about mupen64k 0.7.9 you still haven't seen the best, okaygo was working on the beta and there is a beta version mupen64++ 0.1.3.12 its amazing. you download saves from the host as .net files so you can have completely different save files and not desynchronize. and i believe if you both have the same save states you could technically load them without problems but i tried it once before and it desync'd us (though im not sure if we did it right). anyways in contrast to pj64 which only allows you to use the plugins it wants to online, you can use any plugins with mupen. how's that for ya? only disadvantage is there is no gameshark plugin for mupen as of now but im pretty sure the next beta version will include it as the current beta has a glimpse of a gameshark plugin which means it will be a possibility |
