I've never played any of the Halo maps, other than the campaign ones, but I'm certainly interested to see how this pans out. Great job getting it going. Your persistence has really paid off. Plus, it doesn't hurt when SubDrag pitches in with a project. _________________

Any kind of ramped floor or platform should be able to be done by using Convert Triangle to Clipping. If that doesn't seem to create a clipping tile at the very same location, than I'm not sure what's going wrong. I haven't had any trouble with it, other than sometimes Convert Room Floor to Clipping not always cooperating. Be sure to have Clipping ON, so that you can see the tiles as they are made. But becareful that none get moved or deleted accidentally, as that can sometimes happen when either switching modes or disabling / enabling the clipping viewer. _________________

By the looks of things, holding Control doesn't effect Room Positions mode. You can, however, hold Shift to select more than one room, but it doesn't appear to work on the triangles that make up the model. So for now, you'll have to do them one-by-one. _________________

I save constantly when working on clipping, because I know what it's like to lose a lot of unsaved work. Also, be sure to create a backup of it every once in awhile, just to be safe. If anything were to happen to your only copy, I'm sure it wouldn't be a very nice feeling. _________________

Yes, the scale can easily be adjusted at anytime, without effecting the progress of your clipping tiles. It's done in an index file, which sets up all of the stages, as well as tons of other things. The Editor is capable of handling it, once you're ready to check it out in-game. _________________
