It isn't often I can get that many people together. Thankfully, I have a large enough family to do 3pl matches fairly often. Still, I play entirely on console.

What the heck is wrong with watching screens?

Hey we aren't the only ones playing using 4 tv's? Cool. What a gas. I will say though, with my life status, getting a console session together is a long way off.

Buy a splitter that supports at least four outputs, attach the N64 to the splitter and the splitter to the four TV's, then you use cardboard or something to cover everyone's screen except your own. It's not nearly as cool as it sounds, I played that way with a friend once and we both decided it sucked.

More like both. Look at the setup used to make multi-monitor video, usually at those industy electronics conventions or music dealies.

Internally you'd have to support four seperate buffers, encode the signal, and probably tweak the microcode so the RSP can even output something weird like that.

Then, you'd need a signal differentiator feeding your monitors. The scheme used means that the software must match the hardware specs, so anything you build up is likely hardware specific.

It would likely be easier to run normal video feed out into a computer that does the split for you, then feed that out to your TV/monitors. Since the last time I've seen multi-monitors though that may be what they do. (In the dark ages it was an ordeal to say the least) Again though, this is well outside the reach of normal players.

All so what? Somebody won't know you're looping around behind them? Anyone worth snot does circles and zig-zag so heavily it really isn't an issue... I've seen more people distracted trying to watch what somebody else is doing that they walk full on into a wall and don't even realize it.

I'd like to play, But it's been years I can't get people to play any videogame with.

I'd like to play Goldeneye, and PD too, and many others on many systems, but I just don't have anyone to play with. I long for it.

In my times, I was almost the only one that could play watching the other player's screen, so I had an edge and they always complained because they were not able to do so. Their solution to kill me was using proximity mines and flood the level with them. Those crazy ****...

I also used to insist in playing license to kill, but, again, I seemed to be almost the only one that really liked that, so, I had to put up through many many sessions of mindless proximity mining to keep my herd of "simfáciles" (meatSims for you) happy Razz.
(Note, in Spanish, they translated the simulant names with duller names following their dificulty levels wich, in English, woulbe something like "VEasySim" "EasySim" "NormalSim" "HardSim" "VHardSim"..., "SimNormal" was nicknamed by us "SubNormal", wich is Spanish for "retarded", and we would chuckle to that xDD... at least we had that. Special Sims did have more variated names, at least, but some were quite contrapted, little space for better translations I guess)

When we went from goldeneye to PD, I also got a new set of players to kill, much better and more motivated than the old ones, that would like the more "pro" modes, but then one of them decided it was better paying cyber-cafe sessions to play Unreal LAN games, and I was left alone unless I wanted to pay for that too, which I could not, because I was "poor" Razz.

In the end, I guess the reply is "No, I don't play GE multiplayer on console" I used to, and would like to do it again, but I just can't do it by myself alone, so there's not much I can do about it, unless I can train my dog to do that... *sigh*
