Apparently you can't just simply count up clipping threebyte plink #s. Apparently you can only go up to 0xCF, then to 0x100. If you regrab the editor it fixes this. This *may* be the cause of much crashing on start points and such, such as with the new halo maps. Please download the editor, should be .15b or higher. |

Right click in clipping mode and choose "Redo Tile Numbers" if you have old levels that need to be redone. |

I have my fingers crossed that this is infact the reason why my current PD port is failing on load. If not, I'm going to have to look even deeper into it and see what could be at fault. But this seems like the likely candidate, so I'll be giving it another test very shortly. Thanks for updating the Editor, Sub. _________________

As in 'don't go over *z7' as your final pad value. I thought I noted that in the specification... I did release a spec, right? _________________ (\_/) Beware

I'm happy about this because that will probably mean less trouble for me when I try to import my levels into the editor
Thanks SubDrag! |

There may still be a bug here, checking it out but soon it should stop that random crashing. |

I've sent you PM regarding this issue, with a link to a zip folder containing the files you'll need to view it in the Editor. The update has since helped to get the stage loading without crashing when certain presets are in use, but another problem has cropped up, which I've already informed you about. Hopefully what I've given you is enough information to find the cause and smoke it out.
Hotkeys for clipping creation would definitely be handy. Especially when Convert Selected Room Floor to Clipping doesn't work for the room you're dealing with. Although, I also have a suggestion for Clipping Mode that I think would be ideal to include. Lock Tiles. This would make it so the tiles can't be moved while working. It's very easy to accidentally move a tile by mistake. This lock would force the tiles to stay in place, even if you click and drag them. I'm usually super cautious anyway, but I think this could only help further reduce clipping muck-ups caused by mistakingly moving tiles around. Is this a possibility? _________________

Control+Z undoes the last movement of the clipping tile/s. |

Control+Z undoes the last movement of the clipping tile/s. | does it do that in room positions mode though? |

In clipping mode, I don't think there's one for room positions... |

There's no undo for room positions, sorry. If you do clipping in room positions mode, then go to clipping mode, and edit undo, it will undo.
I've also added the hot key 'f' which will clip a room positions triangle to a tile. |
