This may be a bit off-topic, but is Mupen64's Old Kairella not working for anyone else? It crashed for me and my friend, but we played fine earlier. |

I try to run the program and it tells me, "This Application Has Failed To Start Because The Application Conifiguration Is Incorrect, Re-Installing The Program May Fix This Problem."
I have re-installed twice and it just keeps telling me that...
Can anyone help me? _________________ Proud Member Of The G.N.A.A. |

You need the Visual Studio 2008 Redistributable and DX9.0c. |

I'm pretty sure both of those exist. I know the text editing does, and the objectives is part of the action blocks advanced one I believe? |

Bleh, Having some problems. I downloaded the editor, installed the visual c++ thingy, and loaded it up. I'm trying to follow the "quick start" pdf guide, but I can't figure out how to actually move myself around the level in the editor. I'm stuck in the starting room on the Runway. After having the Editor run for about... 6 minutes, it just crashed when I was looking at the Right-Click options.
Is there any really basic tutorials that cover a brand new user who's never used the editor before?
And how do I move about the level in the editor? I tried using the Arrow Keys, but that just alters my camera view. |

Arrow keys: To move the Camera Around
Q,W: To Move around in the level editor
A,Z: To Move faster and farther in the level editor
C,V: To Change the camera's angles _________________

Ok thanks for that information. However now, if I right click in the editor and bring up the list of options, and then left click back in the editor, it just crashes.
Does it matter that I have Windows Vista? This looks like it would be a great program to mess around with if I can get past all these issues. |

hmmm.... I don't know if it is because you are running Vista or not. I think it is your computer. When I was using my Windows XP(before i got my iMac) it did that, It might not have the right set-up in your video cards or video settings to handle it. _________________

My other PC operates on Vista, so it isn't that. SubDrag was able to get the GoldenEditor running on it a while back. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Maybe Sub can help you out later on. _________________

Well, just incase it is my computer, I'll post my computer specs:
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Graphics Card
1024MB RAM
250GB HD
3800+ AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual-Core processor
Windows Vista Home Premium
Anyway, those are the important specs I think. Its rather new, about a Year Old or so. The editor I downloaded was off of SubDrag's website, so I assume I got the newest version (if there is different versions). |

When I try to open Goldeneye Setup Editor, I get the following Error Window:
This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
After reading most of this thread, I saw someone mention DX9.0c. What is that, and how do I tell if I have it? This may be the problem. |
