Since many years, Gameshark was impressed me. Today, I wanna discover the Gameshark universe. Okay, I'm trying to get the necessery softwares to hack games with a Gameshark for a PC.

Here are the links I went to get'em.

Maybe a Hex Editor. An Anayltical Brain. A Gameshark with a memory editor or maybe just hack the ROM.

Any questions? If there are ... first figure them out yourself, unless your resources are slim and you cant figure it out yourslef ... then ask questions. Hacker's Way. Im no Gameshark Hacker ... but I may be considered one in other "fields" ...

Oh .. and whats with all these Gamshark topics in General Gaming Talk? Isnt there a forums for this stuff!?

I've always relied on the GameShark Pro for hacking the N64. The only PC hacks I've done were for Hi-Res Perfect Dark codes. Hands on with the console is much better, in my opinion. Although there are many other things you can do with a computer. Since using the Memory Editor only lets you modify the RAM, a PC can let you change the ROM. That's if you know what you're doing and which program(s) to use. Not something that I've ventured into yet, but might be when the Revolution is released. Hacking's not all fun and games, believe me. I often feel like snapping the cheating device in half while it's still in the system. However, there's nothing more gratifying than the feeling you get when you've figured out the problem and found success. It's a delicate balance.
