In my map, I added some decals used for hazard signs. However, when the map is compiled and viewed in Crafty, the decals don't even appear! What is going on? |

No idea. I do have a suggestion, though. Create a block where you want your decal flush with the rest of the building, go to Tools>Carve, and the apply the decal to the front of the block you made. It won't be an actual DECAL, but it will really look like on |

Things like this would usually be done as secondary indices, I'd wait for Wreck's tutorial on how to do those. If you don't want to wait
flopperr's suggestion should work too. Decals don't compile as a part of the map, unfortunately, they're entities and only work in Half-Life. |

Might as well wait (I'll be using secondary indices anyway). In the meantime, I will attempt what flopperr said. |

Just make sure to use the Toggle Texture Application Tool so when you apply the texture to the block, you can stretch/skew/resize it so it fits the block perfectly. You wouldn't want a window and a half as a decal would you |

^That's a non-issue, because there is an option I use a lot that allows you to fit the texture perfectly onto a block. |
