You'll have to give us some more specifics...

a) What version GameShark do you have?
b) What game are you using?
c) What codes are activated?
d) Is the Code Generator ON or OFF?

Also, can any game load up without codes turned on?

Do you have any "Master" or "Enable" codes turned on? Perfect Dark requires that you have one, otherwise it will not load. The game will lock up as soon as it begins.

*note: Only have one of these activated at once, not both!

Krijy's Hirez Enabler (Code Generator OFF, I believe):
NTSC
FF72C5A0 0000

Lorez Enabler (Code Generator ON, I believe):
NTSC AND PAL
EE000000 0000

I know one of the Hirez Enablers only allowed up to 10 or so lines of code to be activated at one time. Otherwise, the game ends up crashing as soon as it begins. The one Krijy came up with allows for the full amount, which is approximately 251 basic lines.

Also, with the Hirez Enabler, be sure that the Code Generator is ON.

Are you loading a regular game in your GameShark, such as Mario or GoldenEye, then changing the Keycode to the Zelda one, shutting down the console, switching cartridges for PD, choosing your codes, activating the Code Generator, and starting the game? That's the standard routine you have to go through everytime you want to play Perfect Dark with a GameShark cheating device.

Also, as I asked earlier, are you able to get any game to start with your GameShark without crashing?
