I've been secretly working on this for some time now. I finally have enough done to post a video.

There is a Watch in high quality link on there for a better quality video.
Those rooms are basically finished with great attention paid to detail and lighting. |

Wow, that looks fantastic, BMW. It's nice to finally get a chance to see it in action, rather than in picture form. Looks like the grenade travel is working well, too. Are you still planning on modifying other areas of the map, or was the rooftop and tower the main focus? _________________

Its gonna be quite a long while before its finished.
wreck - I plan on eventually creating rooms both behind the brown non-movable door at ground level as well as behind the fence and behind the tank area. But the rooftop alone still has a lot of work left to be done on it, but I do plan on completing everything, eventually. |

This is incredible! Looking forward to playing it, did you import the original runway into Hammer? |

No, I actually just started out with the runway in the GE setup editor and then started adding extra hammer rooms (once compiled) one at a time to my rooms file, thus importing them into the setup editor. |

Here's a picture of my next mod. Thank god the textures on that fence show up on both sides or this would be next to impossible to accomplish. I do however still have to build the fence posts on the back side in hammer but that will be fairly easy to do.

What does the main floor with the convery belt look like
and did you modify the back entrance that led into the facility so it brings you into the back of the building allowing you to reach the stairs to the Ceiling(or Top Floor) _________________

That's something I haven't mentioned yet because I haven't exactly worked out all the details, but I'm trying to actually import a portion of the bottling room from facility and connecting it to the back. The main problem is scale, the runway's scale is only 1/12 that of facility, so the rooms from facility are HUGE when imported to runway.
However, whether anybody has figured out this little trick yet or not - you can scale down a room in the GE setup editor. Simply go to room positions mode and you can use all the sizing tools on rooms just like you can objects. Then you simply export the verticies of your modified room.
Anyways, IF I can get this to work, you would go into the bottling room then go up the stairs to the uppoer portion, then somewhere from there would be roof access.

Oh nice, you have to tell us how to do transparent textures, so far I don't know if it's been discussed but I certainly doesn't know how to do it. It looks great. |

really fantastic:
I absolutelly love this kind of stuff.
You know, one of my fascinations about any game, but specially GE and PD were the settings and visiting here and there. One think I always looked at was the buildings of the runway and wondering what they would have in them and if I could actually get there.
You sir, are making one of my childhood/prebuberscency fantasies come true. (oooh... that sounded kinda wrong... ) |
