Yes, I have mine. In fact, the games really aren't old school in the least. Yep, it's indeed a "next gen" system. Just wondering what good games I should get for it. How about NBA 2k2? |

Well, if you don't have all of the below, get what's missing. I don't know what to recommend after that.
Rainbow Six: Rouge Spear
THPS 2
Sonic Adventure
Jet Grind Radio
Soul Calibur
I don't own a Dreamcast, but I'd like to. _________________ Pure hand-drawn goodness. |

I sold mine a while back.
Needed some cash and didn't play it anymore.
Only game I kept was Resident Evil - CODE: Veronica, for my collection.
If you're into games like RE, I suggest picking up Carrier.
Sonic Adventure rocked hard, one of the best action titles ever made. |

Do tell. How have you set it up for online play? If you can inform me I'd like to check that out. |

You can have a Dreamcast with either a regular modem or an ethernet cable. Check which one you have, it's in the back right part of the console.
If you have an ethernet broadband adapter (lucky you) and a broadband connection, you just need to set up your internet settings using either a web browser or a game that allows you to set up internet options. Then you just plug it in and go.
If you have a 56k modem on your Dreamcast, you need a dial-up ISP to connect. Sometimes broadband companies will allow you to use dial up connections.
Some games that you can set up internet options with:
PlanetWeb Browser ver 3.0, POD Speedzone, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament
Dial up options only: 4x4 Evolution, NBA 2K1, NFL 2K1
Note that DC online will not work with AOL.
More can be found at OnlineConsoles.com, check the Online Games List or the Guides, links are at the top. _________________ dannycas |
