DK25: The most recent public update to Mupen, Mupen64++ Beta 0.1.3.12, is actually quite a bit more reliable than its previous encarnation. Ask anyone here who has used it and they'll all probably confirm that it works better. There's less slightly less chances of desync, and it doesn't crash on you nearly as much. I wouldn't go back to the old one, not after playing with the Beta.
