Could you describe the problem in more depth?

Remember, this hasnt been tested with W7. Anyways, was it calibrated?

Also, why are we bumping a 2 year old topic?

Isn't it preferable to making a new topic about the same thing? I've always thought so. In any case, like bmw I don't see why it would work with Vista and not 7, but maybe there have been more changes made than I was aware of. I'm running 7 here myself (well, the RC, don't really have the money to buy a full version yet), but I don't have one to test with.

When I try to calibrate, it has no detection of any joystick movement, just sits there with + not moving.

hmmm did you try manually adding a joystick and setting all of its attribute (axis, buttons, etc) manually?

subdrag, the adaptoid doesn't need calibration. it's perfectly adapted to n64's range.
also, the adaptoid is accessed in 2 ways: HID/directinput and adaptoid native interface, which sends raw controller data to the pc, instead of translating to HID format.
The adaptoid plugin for n64 emulators uses that, and requires no calibration whatsoever. In fact it doesn't allow for calibration since it is raw data. it will just convert your adaptoid's n64 controller port into a physical controller port of the virtual n64 created by the emulator, and games will access your controller as such. Controller paks and rumble paks are accessed normally this way.

Win 7 definitely did some new stuff.

OK it's finally back to normal. No idea how it got fixed but after playing around enough it's back.
