Recently I bought a book with the sketches of set designer Ken Adam. He's a favourite of mine, not necessarily because of the Bond sets, even though they are classy.

Here are the sketches from the Goldfinger-chapter:

The gold valve or whatever you call it.

Another angle.

Mexico. Almost as non-revealing as the movie scene itself. A boat and a palm-tree, really?

Now this looks good. The drug-lab.

The car.

Baltimore ranch.

A key-scene in Baltimore ranch.

Close-up.

Laser-room.

Auric's plane. Real classy.

If you want higher-resolution or something, just ask.

I had also found a few books at the local Chapters bookstore with designs from the various Bond films, but they were pretty expensive. I really enjoyed some of the images they had from Tomorrow Never Dies. Those are some fantastic drawings from Goldfinger, as well. You can really tell which sets they put the most amount of effort into.

Thanks for sharing with us, Monkeyface. Smile

No problems. Actually, in the same book there are sketches for Rogue Agent, created by Ken himself, it's pretty neat. Though, they are rather futuristic. More Thunderball and Moonraker or something. And if my memory serves me right, the game wasn't very good either...
