TV/Film locations - then and now!

Remember the boat chase in "The World Is Not Enough"? (in particular, this shot at around the 9:00 min mark)



The following pic was taken by me earlier on!:


Ok, let's take a closer look!:


First fact - the bridge is actually an "unsafe structure", and has no walkway to cross it (it's essentially just a steel frame, with both sides blocked off by gates.)

Second fact - believe it or not, there is actually a dead end on the other side of the bridge, too!:


With some clever video editing, and of course the camera postion, the shot looked like a continuous boat chase. Ah, the magic of the movies!

Thanks Wreck!

I've been planning this for a while, as I know a lot of TV/Film locations in and around London. I find stuff like this interesting!

What's more, seeing the actual locations (especially the Bond ones) gives me ideas for new GoldenEye maps, which is always a good thing! Wink

And, yep, there is going to be a couple "GoldenEye" locations coming eventually, one of which being where Jack Wade shows Bond his tattoo! Very Happy
