|
|
Just wanted to say that PD XBLA does have quite a handful of texture glitches that probably would get fixed eventually. I would take some screenshots, but I don't have the tools to do so at the moment.
There are 2 texture glitches in the Carrington Institute, one being on the brick wall to the right of leaving Carrington's office. The other being to the right of Hacker Cental's door. (Will post pics ASAP)
Other glitches that I've noticed are:
*Sometimes when guards roll, they sort of shake around a bit. Hard to explain, but it doesn't happen in the N64 version.
*The microwave texture in the Carrington Villa isn't applied properly. The digital display on it is cut off!
*The GE RCP-90 in the firing range has been placed horribly off-centre it's unbelievable that it wasn't noticed! The PP7 is probably the only gun that has been placed properly.
(Sleightly off topic, but I was really hoping for the inclusion of the gun names appearing when you press the activate button - doesn't happen I'm afraid!)
*Sometimes, grenades fall through the map when you throw them. I believe this happened in the N64 version. Could be wrong though!
There are a few more that I've noticed. Will post them when I remember them! If you've noticed any, feel free to post them here. |

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't touch the action blocks or pads files at all, explaining both problems in the firing range. |

Yeah it's like they ported the game in, did not touch the action blocks, nor any of the games files, they just made the quality insanley better. _________________

The microwave digital display texture misplacement:
(Sorry about the poor quality - took these with my phone!)
As you can see, it obviously doesn't affect the gameplay whatsoever, but attention to detail was always Rare's forte!
Also, not a glitch, but it's nice to know that 4J left their mark in Chicago!:

Yeah, I liked how Rare worked little things in with the graffiti in both GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, so it's nice to see that 4J got out a can of spray paint and left their own tag.
