Hey guy i find this on Youtube and this looks cool it is call Wii Maintenance Mode.

As you can see it turn off 2 thing the wii message board and the License Agreement on Setting. And the 2 wii channels that come for free are mess up to but still work. In order to get out of this mode ether turn off the Wii or play a game or channel. Oh and the guy sed the thing is a Hack but it not

Hmm.. Very odd indeed. I googled it and there's a lot of theories and speculations as to what it might be used for, but nintendo was quoted as saying that there was no practical use for customers in a replied email..

Thanks for the website El Cazador. I wonder y it mess with the newschannel and Wether channel and i just find out it mess with the Mario Kart channel to.
Oh and Wreck i post this in the wong forms. if you dont mind to move this to the Gameing forms.

| Given the name and the fact that it disables the message board (which automatically tracks the amount of time you play your games, for those without a Wii), this is probably used when Nintendo services your Wii and tests a game in it. That way when you get it back you don't have some random game(s) in your history. I've never had anything done with my Wii so I'm not sure what kind of state it comes back in, but I'd imagine they'd try to leave your data in a pristine state. |

But if you play a game it turn things back to normal.

I just check it out and yup it show up when your done playing a game still. so that cant be it then.
