Just some minutes ago, I catched Robocop 2 on tv, and saw something very familiar.It's all detailed in the following url.

Well, it seems rather obvious that the rare guys were inspired in that. They added automation and other functions to the concept, but otherwise, I'd say this is the origin of it.

'Bout time we had another post in Perfect Dark.

Anyways, yes, O_o nice catch there, Radorn. I can see how it folds out just like the origional Laptop Gun. Although.. the body structure of the gun is slightly different, neverless to say it was supposed to be exact anyways ^_^.

this newer model is more similar, specially the arm rest (or however it's called)

Nice find.All they had to do was swap the "lucnbox" to a "laptop"

Haha, very cool find, Radorn.
I'm a big Robocop fan, and usually compared the MagSec 4 to Murphy's Auto 9. Same three-round burst, strange design, but more colourful and "futuristic". The sound was totally different, though. Robo's gun shot sound is unforgettable.
