Resident Evil 4.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Wreck, RE4 did come out, and it was released on multiple platforms." That may be true, but it isn't the same RE4. Part way through development, they completely changed the game. Back in the original build, it was Leon investigating an eerie looking haunted mansion. The cameras were also using the traditional static (and also sometimes pan-to-follow) positioning scheme. You can still find images and videos of this version online, on sites such as YouTube. Even though I greatly enjoyed the RE4 that was finalized, it'd be nice to see the first draft released in some form.

(However, knowing that the same thing happened during the development of RE2, I have to say that the RE2 we received is my favourite of them all. So, just maybe, not having the old RE4 isn't so bad, afterall.)

Harrier 2001 was going to be a great game.

Stupid legal junk is what got it to limbo.

By the way Radorn , do you have a copy of the sequel to F1 world grand prix?

That one never came out for the americas, but if it improves on the first game it must be really good.

I played it a bit as a rental. never owned it.
I'm aware, through goodn64 romset and wikipedia, that it wasn't released in america, which surprised me quite a bit, since it's an american development after all.

I can't really say if it's better or worse. One thing that I can say is worse (for my taste) is the music. I loved the music of the first game, but the second one is crap in my ears...

Don't mean to Necro or anything, but I can't believe I forgot to say this...

Several installments in the custom robo series.

I really wanted to see the original Conker: Twelve Tales get released.

I also wanted to see this back when it was "Conker's Quest." Conker was my favorite character from Diddy Kong Racing.

One game that comes to mind is "Thornado", first they did try to release it in N64, later on GameCube.
I think the first name for the game was going to be Turrican64.
The music was going to be made by Chrish Hülsbeck, I think he already made some samples.

Sadly the game was never to be released.
Maybe it would have been new Turrican2... maybe not.

It is probably the only N64 game I awaited after I saw some early screenshots in N64 Magazine (UK).

I'm gonna be honest; I really didn't think that game was real. I was so dead set that it was a joke for the last 6 - 7 years.. and now that I know it's real. It scares the crap out of me Razz
