Well, I finally finished it on Agent, and that's given me a bit more confidence for Secret Agent.
I don't think I'll be able to do it on 00 Agent for a pretty long time though.

You'll get it. Just take your time at it. I remember first time through the game, Control took me 12 minutes because I wanted to avoid as much damage as I can.

I finally did it on Secret Agent! It really came down to the wire though.
I was up by the exhaust bay control with 1 notch of health left, and just as the shuttle took off, an enemy came around the corner and caught me off guard.
If the countdown hadn't ended, I could have been dead!

It's funny, I used to find the Aztec an incredibly difficult stage.
Playing though a few missions last night, I beat it first try on 00 Agent mode. Maybe all of my experience playing with Enemy Rockets and License to Kill (007 Mode) has finally paid off. I'd still say that the hardest parts are the first two rooms and the launch area. The guards have such accurate aim, nevermind the power of their weapons. Between AR33's and Military Lasers, your health can decrease very quickly. The drone guns aren't as bad, since you have a decent amount of coverage in the form of metal crates. Jaws is fairly easy to defeat, so long as you stay out of his line of fire. Keep circling around the stairwells, pumping laser beams into his chest or head. Be cautious of the spawning enemies, as they can sneak up on you and bite you in the butt. Close the glass doors behind you when attempting to upload Q's guidance data. This should prevent them from attacking you while you're unarmed. Immediately after initiating the launch sequence, take off up the ladder and open up the exhaust bay doors. Turn around and face the platform, which is the only way up to your location. Crouch down and aim, preparing for any final confrontations. And yes, get the body armour!  |

If they come at you when you're getting the protocol data, their lasers will go through the glass.
Lasers, magnum, pp7 silver to that sorta thing but it all depends on what it is and what's happening that determines if there's penetration.
But you can use any weapon for physce value.

00 Aztec don't seem hard for me anymore either. I've beat it like 5 times already.
