That does look quite good. There may end up being some spots where the snow texture seems squished, or doesn't line up together perfectly, as the ground was created with the concrete image in mind. But from that screenshot, it appears as though you might get lucky. _________________

Ok I do apologize for such a large gap in the updates here.
Yes this project is still alive, however with Vista it's a step at a time. So progress is INCREDIBLY slow due to the setup editor crashing every so often.
Texture Progress on the level is basically done, and everything is looking good, however I am looking very much foward to STOLEN_TEXTURES texture pack and I've actually been toying with some of his place holder textures he released. When I get something solid I will take a screenshot.
As for objectives and stuff like that, still drafting nothing concrete at the moment. _________________ Who? |

I've been hearing people mention that they have trouble with the Editor on Vista, but it hasn't had an effect on me. I just made sure to get all the right DLL's, and anything else necessary, and haven't run into any trouble since. _________________

I mentioned this in the stickied thread about Setup Editor bugs, but the editor keeps crashing in PD mode when I try to open up the Visual Editor, and the error report says that MSVCR90.dll is the culprit. Am I missing a "right" DLL? _________________ 304 HP |

Okay; first update for awhile now.
I haven't been doing much with the editor as of late (outside of texture tampering); and this is mainly due to exams. but now I have resumed work on the Dam update.
Also; I've had to re-install the editor; and I don't know if this is something on my part(because I haven't really been following the progress with the editor); but why is it when I import an object they are as big as the level itself? _________________ Who? |
