hmmm I personally don't think Train is a very good map for VR(maybe for 1 on 1 ) it seems just like a straightforward map but I may be wrong. I'm just giving out my thoughts and not trying to offend anyone |

Train actually played pretty well in GoldenEye, even with all four people participating. Whether or not the Train stays in GE:X as a VR level in later versions of the game, I can't say. Depends on how well it is received, and / or if something more suitable comes along.
I think I only got to test this out once quickly, so I can't adequately review what I saw. I'll have to check it out again with some Sims sometime soon. _________________

But isnt PD's level selection menu pretty big anyway? I.E. it could stay.
I think it would be the same as 1 player, especualy if there was an objective like get to the other end of the train (capture the case/flagtag/kingofthehill)
As for all against all, it would just be death alley

That reminds me Trevor... are all these levels that you are porting going to be Singleplayer levels as well? I'd enjoy Singleplayer tons more than Multiplayer _________________

There are seventeen slots for levels in the Combat Simulator. The last one should automatically be Random, which leaves you with sixteen. Minus Basement and Stack, you get nine original (official) multiplayer maps from GoldenEye. I already believe that Statue and Cradle won't be in the final release, as they'll suffer from framerate drops and possible blackouts (that could potentially crash the game). So, that leaves seven open slots. If we do retexture and update three stages from Perfect Dark, than we have four leftover. It's all going to come down to what plays best.
We are absolutely going to have missions in GE:X. This isn't just a VR (multiplayer) mod, but a full game overhaul. There's so much involved in missions, that we haven't gotten very far. SubDrag did make a great start on Caverns, and 00action has begun Train and Jungle. When we get more of the Action Block types worked out, as well as more characters ported, we can begin to really tackle this stuff. _________________

With train VR i decided to just Throw a setup together, just to see how it played before i did a final setup, i passed it on to wreck so he could have a look and see how what he thinks could improved or changed.
I played it with my brother for an hour and we had a good laugh so maby there is potential for this map in VR. _________________ My YouTube Channel
