Ever had an original idea that you thought you had all by yourselves, but turns out it's origins are found to be doubtful later on?

i'll share one that that i had entertained, but turns out i recently discovered evidence that it might not have come entirely from me at all....

4 years ago while chatting with the group , i came up with the notion of what would happen if a clone Of Jesus (yes new testament Jesus) was made -
would the clone have especial abilities too, would the clone itself have the posibility of not only possesing especial qualities, but also be the foretold "anti-christ' --?
or be just a man and even , not even THE MAN...
we discussed the details, like where to get the DNA, from legendary "Christ blood" relics or the shroud of Turin itself

Either way - fun times for about 4 days ---

4 days ago i was watching a channel dedicated to science fiction stuff on megacable -
surprise, the show "the outer limits" had an episode about a Jesus clone -
aired in 1999-
i have seen the outer limits before , but i do not remember watching this episode-

but the possibility is truly high that i did see it , or saw part of it - even just a promo, and thus the "theory" was never my own.......

Any memories or ideas any of you guys have had that turn out not to be entirely your own?
