Ok , my secretario found the numbers in the N64 sount tool that control
the "ringing" noise that is made in perfect dark
0007 & 0006 -
if this sounds are replaced the ringin sound for targetting is dissapeared -
the problem is , for people who want to play perfect dark in the console , and have no backup cartridge, this option is not possible -
using the numbers i think a gameshark code can be made to turn off the noise -
the bad is that i can't figure out how to find the numbers to modify before 0006 & 0007

there is only one thing we did not do a test
we want to keep the noise for the detection of targets using the CMP150
and the heat seeking rocket
if sound 0006 is different from sound 0007, only one has to be disabled and the ringing sound for the secondary function in the 2 weapons can still stay there - |
