Check goldeneyevault FAQ, you need to adjust PD ROM settings.

Make sure a controller pak is enabled, and that the game is running in 8mb mode, or else you won't have access to saves or Hi-Res mode.

I use the Mupen64++, but it seems I can't find the 8mb mode and the controller pak settings.

I think you just need to update your ini configuration file for Mupen. If you haven't already, try replacing the current one with this...

http://www.goldeneyevault.com/files/misc/MupenOnlineIniFile/mupen64.ini

Make sure to have the emulator closed before you replace it, otherwise it'll revert back to the previous one. Give that a go, and let us know if you have any success.

Ah, I tried but it didn't work. I guess I'll have to try PJ64, despite the fact that it doesn't support online play.

You sure that didn't work? Does GE:X come up in the list with the proper name and everything? I thought that was all you had to do in order to get Mupen to recognize the ROM and allow saving and online play. Maybe I'm missing something...

GhettoGangsta, make sure you're replacing THE mupen64.ini

By that, I mean to ignore/kill the one outside the Mupen folder. 'Tis merely a back-up

Ctrl+R refresh rom list as well

I'll have to try that and see, but what does this error mean?

ERROR: This application cannot run because bmg.dll is missing. Re-installing the program might fix this.

Glad to hear that it's running the way it should. Smile
