Dang, who knew swimwear worn by Daniel Craig were worth so much?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19857385
That's just over $71,000 American dollars.
The 2008 Aston Martin 6 Litre V12 DBS driven in Quantum of Solace went for nearly $400,000 |

Haha!
I thought it'd be Sean Connery's swim trunks. _________________ And I'll leave it at that! |

Well, I just did the tuxedos (other than the white one, which was the work of Zoinkity, with minor alterations by myself), SubDrag was responsible for the heads (I helped with the Lazenby textures), and Monkeyface did the initial Connery head. 00action did the Lazenby character select image, which I also tweaked. It was the labour of multiple people, so I don't really like it being refered to as "Wreck's All Bonds". That just isn't fair to the others who put their time and effort into it.
Yeah... Craig's swim trunks for that much... _________________

Wow Daniel Craig swim trunks worth over $71,000 dollars!?
I am not a huge fan of this guy playing bond and what not. And I don't see how this be worth that much by a guy who only played as the character bond for like what 2 movies? _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

As scary as it sounds, his third outing as 007 is just around the corner...
On a much higher note, the pistol used by Connery in From Russia With Love auctioned off for over $430,000. Pretty crazy for a gun, but it was from the second film. _________________

to me, casino royale was ok, but quantum of solace...that was awful. Let's hope Skyfall will be better to tribute bond's 50th anniversary |

I'd like to know how much the handbag made from the aligator used in Live and Let Die would go for ;*)
To be honest my problem isn't with Craig but with the general state of Bristish spy stuff generally, and more generally a lot of their recent TV shows. Moodiness and angst gets tiresome after a while, and these directors have just been beating it like a dead horse.
It's understandable, sure, and it's obvious what they were trying to do, but it just didn't come across very well. It feels too remote to Bond's original character. There should have been a hard laisse-faire shell encasing all of this so when the angst engine starts up there's a clear sense of loss and frustration. This was supposed to be how he learned to bury his emotions and detatch himself to get the job done, and what led him to become the spy who always puts the mission first.
In that respect, the newer Craig games probably peg Bond's personality better than the movies did.
Then again, it's probably all a side-effect of taking a taking the source too seriously. _________________ (\_/) Beware
