I want to add in custom music to Depot, so I got my hands on a midi. I went to 21990 mods, went to the Model Details tab, and selected the Depot Main Theme I wanted to replace with my midi under "Music Entry". I then clicked, "Import from Midi No Repeats", and then selected my midi file on my computer. I then clicked, "Export to GE Format", and then saved it. I then clicked the button, "Replace Midi with GE Format", and selected my midi in GE format (which I converted earlier) thinking that it would replace the Depot Main Theme I selected with my converted midi. I then navigated over to the Stage Options tab, selected Depot as the level, and then selected the Depot Main Theme, which I thought was replaced with my converted midi. I then clicked "Write ROM with 21990 Mods", and then I opened GE to test in PJ64. When I started the Depot level, it crashed saying, "Executing from non-mapped space. Verify ROM and ROM settings." Question

Did you adjust your ROM settings according to PJ64 FAQ? Also btw, you do want to use repeats (at least...seems stable enough), and also that import from midi goes straight to GE format :p No need to export and reimport in GE format.

The midi must be uncompressed no bigger than 0x1800 sized shown on import (0x3000 will crash but over 0x1800 and messes watch up). Imports make the file smaller by repeating sections, algorithm seems good enough.

I dunno why but some smaller midis I've had trouble with repeats, they sound off ingame so those wouldn't be repeated, until I figure out inexplicably why mess up.
