Messing with the menu's addresses again, and I'd go on a tangent about what I did, the pointers I poked at but I'll save that for later. I managed to make this menu popup during the process.

I had to tweak the color and 'Warning' text, but has anyone ever seen it before? Me and SubDrag cannot figure out where this would popup, seeing as Solo Missions allow cheats. If not, then I might have found a menu not intended for eyes to see.

Thanks folks.

P.S. I checked and it appears that all PerfectHead menus have been removed as of retail 8.7 and beta 6.4, which is a huge let down.

I certainly don't know of any way of making that show up normally. I knew about the text strings. It's probably something they never got around to implementing; seems like it would've been shown when accessing the cheat menu/activating a cheat for the first time.

would like to make an argument and questions about PerfectHead function and especially the years that have passed since leaving perfect dark. can that you are trying to figure out how it worked this function in PD, perhaps out of curiosity or to know a little more about what had been PD and today is no more. if neither are you researching a way to make this function possible. in the event that anyone hicierais run PerfectHead account today with GameBoy-Camera to check?. I think this worked in this way, and I think that someone needs the console and the real accsorios to do so. and on an emulator? as you can activate the GameBoy-Camera on an emulator? or someone has to make a plugin for this purpose?.

otherwise was it with this contraption with what programmers took photos and now are GE and PD guards? I wonder what will we do if we run the PerfectHead?

It's not even the fact it wont work, every single other menu is in memory except the PerfectHead ones. I went through every single menu/text string. If I got an authentic menu to pop up, I really could care less if it fully functioned, as long as we have a new never-before-seen menu, but of course we'd end up running tests, especially on console etc.

That's what I was thinking, the 'first time' thing.

Yeah, since when you complete a mission while cheats are active, you can't progress through to the following stage. Maybe they thought it would be a good idea to warn players, who might wonder why the next level isn't unlocked. You'd think it might be a one-time message, since having this pop up everytime you access the missions menu would quickly become annoying. Nice find.
