Well, I have finished making a solo Silo based mission with altered guards and altered objectives. I am hoping that people would not find it too similar to the original, but it is a hell of a lot more difficult than the original. Think of Aztec Moonraker guards with armour, and then you'll see what I'm saying.
I am hoping to eventually make a map with Hammer Editor, but it will take a while for me to learn how to use it properly, I am busy with things at the moment. |

 so uuuuuuuuummmmmm what's finished? you said you haven't made the map yet?

I've finished a mission based on the in game Silo setup file, but I won't be able to make original maps with the Hammer Editor until I work out how to use it properly, as I am having trouble with it and I've been very busy with work.
I hope I've cleared that up.  |

It could be possible that you're encountering the same problem when I tried to send my first solo level.
If you click 'submit files' on the vault, it won't arrive. I tried the same and if I remember correctly, subdrag told me that e-mail was outdated.
That's maybe the reason IF you did it that way.
It could be something else as well...

maybe you could update that link(submit files)with your current e-mail, subdrag?
