Not sure if anyone here is into isometric XCOM style games, but my current project is a game called Isomer. It's inspired by the original (mid-90s) XCOM games like UFO Enemy Unknown and some more recent indie games like Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress. It's currently in alpha, let me know what you think ! |

Very cool! Nice to see it isn't just another XCOM clone BTW. You also seem to borrow some concepts from Evil Genius, thoug that could just be incidental. Wish you luck!
(If ever there was a game that needed some RE to fix its memory leaks and access its unused content, it's Evil Genius.) _________________ (\_/) Beware

First up: Always happy to greet a determined developer! Some of us have been in the industry for years and it's vision and determination that get a project through. You seem to have both.
As a wink and a nod towards what you're making, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was some of the games I spent, possibly years of my life playing, and those were Zed, Celtic Legends, and Warmonger (I think that was it) just in terms of visuals and the nature of how your description seems to play Good work! _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |

Definitely bookmarking this one and waiting for a final release. XCom was always one of my favorite PC games from the 90s. |
