Hello. I have done the installation like :

The problem is when patching I open Tools-->X Delta Pathing--> Apply PD X Delta Patch and after I select the perfect dark rom U 1.1 then select
GEX_5b_03-01-13_Clouds.xdelta patch witch give a new rom like Goldeneye X on the desktop.

The problem is it is not a rom only the editor make a simple file alone like:

Goldeneye X (32,0 Mo) and if I open this file with project 64 2.1. the emulator will freeze. I cannot put it into the rom folder because it does not recognize the new rom

If I want to try again the editor freezes

I have Windows 7 64 bits with direct x 11 and installed Microsoft VS2008 Redist

Do you get any errors when applying patch?

The majority of all N64 roms modded need custom settings in PJ

Rightclick>Edit Game Settings



I forget if under Recompiler needs any config ..

tried to register PD Rom(New rom) to replace the original perfect dark rom 1.1 and it said: Unknown error patching possibly input rom CRC mistmatch


I saw that when I save the final rom I only type a rom name without adding an extension so I kept the name it gave me and I can see it on my emulator but it looks like : Bad rom? Use Good n64

And if I open that rom i will have Fatal error: stopping emulation

Sounds like you have the wrong input rom or corrupted it or didn't unzip it, try and find the 1.1 from another site.

I also edited the goldeneye x rom plugin with settings

I think you need to get a clean PD 1.1 rom, sounds like it's corrupted, then try applying again and writing to a new ROM.

I got a new 1.1 rom and I have the same fatal error

I used the other patch without success

Please generate an md5 using the editor on your PD 1.1 ROM. Tools->Trim Flip ROM Tools->Calculate MD5

If it's not:

then keep searching for that ROM.

Must be your emu then, that loads fine for me in pj64 1.6. Did you try mista's settings?

I do not know what is mista`s settings but I just renamed the new rom by removing the .v64 and put a new name.

I think I had writen two extensions: perfect_dark.v64.rom

The emu does not support a rom with two extensions so I removed the .v64 and it worked!!!!!!

So the rom works but the name of the rom is still bad rom? I guess this is not a rom but a modified one

Goodn64 did nothing


Very strange that problem who make fatal error for a simple .v64
