A small bug I encountered on the Perfect Editor. When ever I give a guard a left hand weapon (in visual) the editor crashes.
Running on XP SP3 and Admin. |

Hmm, I'm having trouble recreating it. Is there a specific scenario that crashes every time? |

Start a new setup runway, insert guard 11, then add left weapon (which one?) and it crashes? |

I keep forgetting to bring these up. Some GE actions that the editor could be clearer about:
14: Guard Targets Guard - this can also be "guard shoots Bond" or "guard shoots guard" if the guard bitflag that allows that is set, depending on the value used for xxxx.
Suggest changing it to "Guard Aims, Shoots at Bond/Guard/Pad" unless xx2x is set, in which case drop "Shoots".
15: Guard Kneels, Targets Guard - same thing as above.
16: Standing Guard Targets Guard - this one's currently deceptive. What is does is make the guard shoot without changing their animation. It's often used in conjunction with the ones above. (As in, use 15 to aim at a guard while kneeling, then 16 to actually fire after a few cycles rather than immediately)
31: I haven't confirmed exactly how this works, but the current description is definitely wrong. It may be the opposite of what it says, but I believe it checks if the referenced guard ID isn't currently alive. It's used all the time in Rare's guard spawners.
9D: Mistakenly shows objective information instead of guard bit tag information.
9D, 9E, 9F, A0, A1: A2 has some information in its help box about these bits, but none of these actions do. They should all have this same information. |

Found another small bug in PD editor. If selecting action number 005B it wont display a drop down box of the preset to step into. |

I'm not actually 100% sure how that action works. If it's room #, or pad, or both.
I updated the editor's labels (for GE mode) to the ones DB said, and updated actions.ini to copy to the others.

When selecting the paint brush tool and selecting multiple objects in PD editor (visual) the editor crashes after selecting 4 or so objects.
Also, not really sure if its a bug or not but thought I'd mention it. In PD editor when selecting a lock type in visual (keycard) and set it too 10000000 it doesn't say that in the Objects window. Instead it says 00000080. It gets pretty confusing when setting keycards to guards. Also, in objects window, I cant seem to set a 10000000 key flag without it reverting to 00000000. |

One was hex, one was bits. But it's confusing, so I've taken care of both issues in beta editor. |

Code: | 00000800: standard clipping (allows him to handle ramps and stuff) |
This (also?) prevents auto aim from targeting the guard. |

Heh, come to think of it, I was never quite sure what that meant (do you need it on any guard going over ramps?)
Were there any others of the bitflags you know that are unknown in list? Quite a bit were unknown. |

I tried a few others, but that was the only one I figured out something for that wasn't already listed. I don't know if it actually has any affect on ramps or not, but I've never manually set it in any mission I've worked on (except after figuring out it stopped auto-aim), so if does something clipping related I've never noticed its absence. |
