So I was thinking about this for awhile with the fact that in PD the guards have a wider range of visibility than GE. So will this effect gameplay in missions like Cradle where you will have guards shooting at all angles just because of how open the map is? Or are you able to limit the guards sight in some areas? |

If PD's default guard behavior is like GoldenEye, they won't shoot you past a certain range. If that mechanic weren't in place, Surface would already be similarly bad. Granted, they're still going to shoot over railings where they normally wouldn't, but they won't be blasting you from their pylon spawns (hopefully!)
Caverns is certainly going to be an interesting mission with the new LOS checks. Those guards are so exploitable in the original game, it doesn't help that most of them won't even react to the sound of your gunfire. |
