Hey just wanted to see if everyone here on help me make a list of things that work on Solo Missions that won't work in Multi.
Heres what I know do not work in multi.
Drone guns
Tanks
Helicopter (Propellers spinning)
Guards
I have to try but not sure if cars are able to be put drivable.
That is all I can think of as of now. If there are ways to make these work I'm all ears or...
Join in making an accurate list.

Technically any actor can be dropped in if there's a path network. They don't crash the game; position calculation (finding the player or some other thing) without a path network is so CPU-intensive that the game moves at less than a frame per second.
There was a patch to bugfix non-explosion guard/autogun kills so they register right. It was made back when the editor wasn't visual yet.
That said, autogun and actor targetting is set to look for the current player's ID, which in the case of multiplayer will cause them to switch targets rapidly. Actual player IDs are a two-byte value so they can't normally be set via action blocks. I don't think we ever fixed this in a patch.
You can set a car on a path via actions. Players can not currently drive any vehicle due to the same "current player ID" issue.
Add linked weapons to the list. You can not make a left+right linked pickup if the left-handed item has a 1st person model. There's a bug in the mirroring code that produces lefty models in MP mode, thrashing pointer references.
Granted I don't think anybody bothers using that type in solo stages since you can interlink items in easier ways but it would prevent dirty co-op versions of Bunker II, for instance. _________________ (\_/) Beware

Shame about the tank. I spent a bit of time thrashing away at that one myself with no success. Did nut out most of the tank controller format however...and you then showed up with all of it ralmfao! _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |
