there is a tool called Gamebit, used to open Gamecube and N64 cases, and i have finnaly found a place that shows how to make one. all you need is... a bic pen, a lighter, and a candle. light the candle and remove the guts of the pen, heat up the pen until the plastic is stickey, and place it on the screw. let it cool down for a while, and twist to remove the screw. thats all there is to it, easy eh? use one bic pen per screw. take a hacksaw and make a slit in the screw so that it turns into a flathead screw, instead of wasting another pen.

hope this helps any modders out there, or overclockers.

Seems kind of stupid that you'd need a seperate pen for each screw. There's got to be a way to shape the pen to that size and shape without having to destroy it afterwards. That's like chucking out a screwdriver after one use. Cheaper, yes. But still, there's probably something you can do to make a tool that will last a while.

its called a dremel and a flat head screwdriver, or go buy a security bit set from princess auto. i plan on the second option. umm... yeah. get one screw out with a pen first, just for size.

I didn't think they'd use the Dremel to cut away from the flathead screwdriver, but rather make a slit in the actual screws themselves. Atleast that way you won't mess up a perfectly good flathead. Unless the screws are too small for that method, in which case you would have to modify the driver. Wonder how little of bits you can get for a Dremel. Might have to try this out sometime.

Just buy the actual bit. Less work.
