Great ideas.
I think I proposed a similar idea to Sub ages ago and your suggestion has brought it to light again.
Not sure how this could be acomplished but, allow us to type (using autocomplete?) action blocks just like VB/C/C++ code.
Perhaps, typing "IF " will then bring up the selection box with only the options related to IF.
User could then continue to type "GUA.." and the box would limit itself to guard/actor stuff.
These could also be the wrong order if for example (not a real code line) a GE command actually read "JAL to function XXX IF Guard ID = YYY"
This command would appear even if the user typed "IF" first since most languages logically start with IF and not THEN.
Aliases could also be usefull, eg, typing GOTO would show results relating to JAL

I added a search button, although I will admit, pdactions.ini is not filled out very heavily.
Trevor's ideas are interesting, and I've considered writing advanced stuff, along the same vein of "compiling" or importing code, but have not made any changes like that for now.
It also updates based on change the choice to add, or one selected in tree. |
