Sorry I have one more question.

I have played Office and Storage Facility, and as new levels created in hammer they don't play terrifically. I was using the rice plug in, but was recomdneded the glide plugin but dont notice much difference.

There's also a problem on Aztec complex as the sky is all chopped up versions of the walls of the level. The main offenders are the new levels in hammer editor as they are quite choppy.

Is there a better plugin?

Also when I download some of the levels from GE vault, they are being saved as xdelta files rather than ips, how come?

The editor patches both. Xdelta yielded smaller patches than ips so we switched to them at some point.

I think we needed to switch to Xdelta when we began modding Perfect Dark. Due to the larger size of the ROM, IPS patches couldn't do the job. I might be off on the specifics, but I am pretty sure it was a size issue that forced the Editor to use a different patching method.

I see, is the method different for applying patches to xdelta files in the GE Setup editor and turning them into roms?
