i got perfect dark....i don't have an expansion pak so i can't play the missions yet...but so far i'm kinda not impressed...i think the graphics are worse than ge....but some of the guns are cooler...and have secondary modes...cool to see temple and complex made it into the game also

| Co-op is PD is quite an improvement. I don't like the levels as much as in GE, but co-op is something that is very great. And multi by yourself is to say the least, better. |

I agree with SubDrag. The multiplayer portion of Perfect Dark is somewhat better than GoldenEye. Co-operative mission mode was a great addition to the game, as well as the advancements they'd made with Combat Simulator. I can't tell you how cool it would've been to battle against (up to eight) simulants in GoldenEye by myself. It's the one thing that PD has over GE. Nothing else really out does it. There's surely some nifty stuff you can do, but none of it truly stands out. Perhaps the whole futuristic elements of the game are the blame. Aliens, cloaking devices, secondary functions for weapons, hover vehicles, etc. Even the visuals aren't that much grander. It may look pretty, but it doesn't make up for the framerate issues that often occur for no apparent reason. Must be from reading Action Blocks, spawning guards, setting new behaviours and enemy protocols, etc. Anyways, I'm a fan of both titles. They each have their own unique qualities. We may not always see eye-to-eye about which is the best, but we can definitely agree that they are both incredible.

| I think the problem isn't the story, but the level design. The levels just simply aren't fun like Goldeneyes. It could be similar to the story problems, but Goldeneye levels are just fun to play, and PD I only really liked Defection. Levels like Deep Sea and Rescue are just annoying and most levels are too long for their own good. My two cents. I do like PD a lot though. |

PD multiplayer is fabulous. There are just way too many options.
