I'm starting a new blog about the clothing James Bond wears in his games. It's supposed to be a tongue in cheek look at 007 and the sartorial choices his game developers make for him.

For my first post clearly I will talk about one of the 'costumes' in GoldenEye 007. No brainer as it's an anniversary year, the most critically-acclaimed Bond video-game of them all and my favourite game growing up.

I've been trying to analyse the suit the Bond wears in the game from YouTube videos of the cutscenes. Not the black dinner jacket (tuxedo) but rather the blue suit he wears in 'frigate', 'train' and other levels. My aim is to depict all the different details of the suit, or at least as best as can be represented by the graphic limitations of the period.

I'm trying to figure out wether the suit jacket has a single, centre vent in the back or double, side vents. Or even if there are any vents at all. There aren't many cutscene animations that give a clear view of Bond from behind (the end of 'depot' appears to be the best option) and I can't tell if the character model splits the jacket at the back to help with the leg movement, thereby creating a centre vent.

If anyone on here can point me in the right direction that would be a great help. Perhaps some of you have character texture to hand and could provide some insight?

Additionally on the black dinner jacket model of Bond I cannot decide whether they have gone for a one or two button jacket at the front. Or left it vague.

I realise the guys behind the actual game had more important things to worry about than how movie-accurate Bond's suit was but I want to try and get my blog right!

Also for those who care I got the idea for the site as a send-up of the ever amazing blog bondsuits.com. I could never hope to top how good this site is and encourage you all to visit if you have an interest in 007's clothing.
