The ports use the exact same geometry as the original game, so they should be a match. I double-check PD to make sure everything appears to look and function the same way, such as neck stretching.
Another interesting thing I found out, this time regarding Mr. Blonde...
The bottom portion of his jacket can only be seen from the outside. If you look at it from inside (between his legs), it is missing. Either this was an attempt to cut down slightly on the amount of polygons the character requires, or was a mistake. I confirmed it in PD, as well. _________________

Don't know why I haven't paying more attention to this thread. Nice ports Wreck! =-D What I really wanted to do is port the enemies from PD to GE because I like GE's death animations much more than PD's. _________________

Been a few years since this was last updated, so I figured I would add some new info. I did end up finishing Joanna Combat, Trent Easton, Mr. Blonde and Cassandra de Vries. All four are available as model templates, which can be imported to any GE ROM. I also have started on the Shock Trooper, and have Elvis (nude... that rascal!) ready to submit to Vault. Once all six are done and uploaded, I do plan on making a patch that will also include some ported weapons (CrashOveride has done a few), and a PD map or two.

Funny you should mention porting a map from PD to GE as a few months ago actually managed to port the whole of the Investigation level, its not 100% complete but i managed to fix a good 95% of the clipping and i believe i only had a small issue with a texture but other than that its pretty much ready to go.
