Modifying the displaylists for the watch hand in any way, such as even changing textures, will break the model. Is there a fix for this, or am i doing something wrong?

I got it to work only after clicking 'textures from model'. Have you tried doing that step?

This error is not found within the editor so I suspect it might be due to Windows. If this happens again I can lower heap allocation and check if it resolves the issue

Yes that is an error thrown from Windows. It means there is not enough memory (RAM specifically) to allocate to the Editor, so it crashes out instead.

idk why that would happen, taskmanager showed i had lots of memory left. This didn't occur with any other model, and the editor could still open other model slots. Just when opening that slot it gave that error

Instead of RAM, it could be Video RAM instead, the stuff paired with graphics chips.
