Hey all. I've been making a custom level after not using the Setup Editor for a while but I've run into an issue. I can inject the level and the primary setup fine, but doing anything at all to the secondary setup causes the game to crash when entering that area. Even if I replace the secondary setup with the same one already found in that level it will crash.
Like I said, the actual map makes it into the game fine. I can enter my level but I end up with a ton of objects floating around from the old one because they're in the secondary set which I can't touch.
Any help would be much appreciated! |

Hello there. You shouldn't have to inject secondary files or primary. Open your level in the visual editor. Open a rom in the game config and select the level you want to replace on game config. Click on "import from visual". It will import prim and sec setup and then you can just click write rom on the game config.
Also, I just tried to inject a secondary file and it worked fine not sure. Are you on the latest version of the editor? And what level are you replacing? |

So I tried simply testing the ROM on a different emulator and now it's working fine. I'm able to import the way you said. Thanks for the response! |
